Chris Sale tries to extend elite start to 10-0 vs. Indians

White Sox left-hander Chris Sale will try to become just the eighth pitcher since 1900 to win each of his first 10 starts of the season when the Sox host the Indians on Tuesday night at U.S. Cellular Field.

According to Elias Sports Bureau, he would be just the second pitcher since 1920 to reach the mark through his first 10 starts, joining Andy Hawkins who did it in 1985.

Sale has gone 9-0 with a 1.55 ERA, three complete games, 69 strikeouts and a 0.73 WHIP to start the year. He is coming off back-to-back complete games against the Yankees and the Astros.
