Chicago Cubs name Willie Harris their new 3rd-base coach. The former White Sox player scored the decisive run in the 2005 World Series.

Harris has been a manager in the minor leagues for the White Sox and San Francisco Giants and most recently served as baserunning and outfield coordinator for the Cincinnati Reds.

He batted .246 in four seasons for the White Sox (2002-05) and played outfield and second base for seven major-league teams over parts of 12 seasons.
