DETROIT -- The Chicago White Sox evened their three-game weekend series with the Detroit Tigers with a 12-3 victory Saturday afternoon at Comerica Park. The victory snapped a two-game losing streak and improved the White Sox’s record to 4-6 this season.
How it happened: The White Sox erupted for 11 runs combined between the third and fourth innings, highlighted by a grand slam from Jose Abreu, the second of his career, and a three-run homer off the bat of Adam LaRoche.
