Baseball opens series with 7-5 win over No. 14 Oklahoma State

AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Baseball picked up a big series-opening win, 7-5, over No. 14 Oklahoma State on Friday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The Longhorns (29-18, 14-8) will now look to clinch the series on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

Gage Boehm pitched 2 2/3 innings of stellar relief to pick up his fourth win of the season. He scattered three hits and finished with four strikeouts in the game.

Peyton Powell went 3-for-4 with a double and three runs scored, including the game-winning run on a seventh inning sacrifice fly by Kimble Schuessler.
