SAN ANTONIO, Texas., May 3, 2024 –The University of South Florida softball team (33-20, 12-13 AAC) completed the comeback win over the University of Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners (14-40, 4-21 AAC) to open the series on Friday night. The Bulls won with a final score of 2-1.
In the top of the 11th inning with the bases loaded, Kathy Garcia-Soto (Tampa) earned a four-pitch walk to bring the game-winning run across the plate.
The 11 innings is tied for the longest game for South Florida this season. The other was an 11-inning win over Charlotte.
