Late Rally Dooms Flashes

KENT- A late Miami rally was too much for the Flashes on Friday, dropping the opener of a three-game set, 4-3 at Schoonover Stadium.

Miami scored two in the sixth and two more in the seventh to undo an early Kent State lead. The Flashes got on the board early, scoring two in the first. Tim Orr and Kyle Jackson had back-to-back singles, putting runners on the corners. Jackson then stole second and Orr scored on a Brody Williams' walk that ended in a wild pitch. Hunter Klotz then brought home Jackson on a ground out to take the early lead.
