After playing a double header on Friday, where Florida State softball split the day with Syracuse, they headed into their final game on Saturday.
To lead off, Kaley Mudge reached on an error from the Orange defense. A single up the middle from Jaysoni Beachum had two on, and soon two outs from Lindsey Hendrix. Facing Michaela Edenfield, the FSU catcher launched a 3-run homerun to give the Seminoles a lead.
