CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) and City of Akron have announced that the MAC Softball Championship will return to Firestone Stadium in 2024 and 2025. The MAC Softball Championship and City of Akron have renewed a longtime partnership as the tournament was previously held at Firestone Stadium from 2002-05 and 2008-19.
The 2024 MAC Softball Championship is set to take place on May 6-11, 2024, with the 2025 MAC Championship scheduled for May 5-10, 2025.
"Firestone Stadium will provide an excellent setting for our student-athletes to compete for the Mid-American Conference Tournament title," said MAC Commissioner Jon A.
