It’s becoming increasingly clear that the Eagles aren’t as good as last season - PFF
Defense is the side of the ball with the larger gap to close. We have become accustomed to viewing the Eagles as one of the best pass-rushing units in the league, but they rank just 12th this season in pressure rate, some 10 percentage points lower than Dallas at the top of the rankings. Their defensive front, which used to be a reliable seven rushers deep, is much closer to a true front four this season with players who can rotate in but not replace the same level of consistent production.
