PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley Braves Baseball team lost to Belmont University, 8-6.
Things began early, as Senior Ryan Vogel hit a leadoff home run. The Bruins answered, scoring one run in each of the first three innings, entering the top of the fourth up 3-1.
The Braves offense ignited in the top of the fourth inning. Vogel hit a sacrifice fly to bring one home. Then, Senior Logan Delgado hit a two-RBI double, giving the Braves a one-run lead. Junior Michael Mylott singled, allowing Delgado to score on an error by the Bruins shortstop.
