SAN JOSE — Xavier men's basketball is convinced it's right where it's supposed to be even if the little No. "11" next to its name on NCAA Tournament brackets might have others thinking differently.
The Musketeers (23-13 overall) meet the second-seeded and No. 4-ranked Arizona Wildcats (32-4) in an NCAA Tournament West Region Sweet 16 game Thursday night at SAP Center. The game is scheduled to tip around 10 p.m. ET after the conclusion of No. 1 Gonzaga versus No. 4 West Virginia at the same venue.
At stake for the programs is a chance to play Saturday in the Elite 8 for the region's Final Four berth.
