Cincinnati, OH- Xavier men's tennis fell to Samford 5-2 in Richmond, Ky. today.
The Musketeers had most of their success in doubles play, winning two of the three matches. Matt Bishop and Gabe Araujo won their No. 2 match, 6-4 and Trent Smith and Connor LaFavre won 6-4. Bishop won his No. 2 singles match, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2. Nick Werneralso won in singles 6-4, 6-4. The Musketeers are now 2-4 on the season and will face Eastern Kentucky in Richmond again tomorrow.
