CINCINNATI – Xavier University Athletics and its multimedia rightsholder, Learfield's Xavier Sports Properties, officially announced today that BB&T will join the Musketeers' corporate partner family beginning this season.
The multi-year partnership provides significant visibility for newcomer BB&T among Xavier students, faculty and entire campus community as the financial institution recently opened a branch on Montgomery Road in the University Station development. BB&Ts expansion into the Cincinnati market has been in the works since it acquired Crestview Hills-based Bank of Kentucky in June 2015.
The BB&T-Xavier Athletics' relationship will be centered around Musketeer men's basketball with significant exposure in the Cintas Center, online and on the Xavier radio network.
