CINCINNATI - Sophomore scored a career-high 24 points on Friday afternoon, leading the Musketeers to a 76-73 win over Toledo on the final day of the Xavier Invitational.
The Musketeers moved to 3-0 on the year, while the Rockets dropped to 1-2.
• Toledo jumped out to an early 10-2 advantage and led by as many as 12 points, 22-10, at the 10:34 mark. Xavier battled back with a 17-6 run on 8-for-12 shooting to get within one, 28-27, with 3:46 left in the half. The Rockets outscored Xavier, 10-7, in the closing minutes to take a four-point lead (38-34) into the locker room.
