PROVIDENCE, R.I. - A golden goal from in double overtime gave Xavier women's soccer its first result of conference play, a 3-2 win at Providence on Thursday evening. The Friars took the lead early in each half, but equalizers from and helped force extra time, where Schembri's tally sealed the game in the second minute of the second overtime.
Xavier moved to 7-5-0 overall and 1-1 in BIG EAST play.
