CINCINNATI - Xavier baseball completed the series sweep of crosstown rival Cincinnati on Wednesday night, defeating the Bearcats, 10-6, from the UC Baseball Stadium. The Musketeers extended their win streak to six games as they improved to 13-13 on the year. The Bearcats dropped to 9-14 on the year.
The Musketeers have now won eight of the last 11 meetings vs the Bearcats.
- Xavier scored 10 or more runs for the fifth time this season. The Musketeers also had 12 hits, the team's 16th game of the year with 10 or more hits.
