STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Zachary Polk defended his title in the long jump at the 2017 BIG EAST Indoor Track and Field Championships as the Musketeers wrapped up day one action at the championships meet. The two-day meet is being held at the Ocean Breeze Track and Field Athletic Complex.
"Both teams brought a ton of energy to the meet for day one. On the women's side, I told them in the team meeting that they should expect the unexpected. Several of our girls bought into that philosophy, which allowed us to send a few more to finals then what was originally projected.
