EAST MEADOW, N.Y. - Xavier swimming closed out the third day of action at the BIG EAST Championship with five event titles, six new school records and four NCAA B-Cut times. The Xavier women remain in third while the men moved up a spot to third. The event's final day of competition is tomorrow.
- Caroline Gaertner won the BIG EAST Championship in the 100 fly, with a time of 53.72. The time upped the school record she had set earlier in the day and hit the NCAA B-Cut time.
- Xavier's women took three of the top six spots in the 100 back, set by another Gaertner school record and B-cut time of 54.
