WASHINGTON D.C. – Xavier men's tennis defeats Georgetown 5-2 in their first BIG EAST conference match on March 17.
The Musketeers excelled in singles play. Matt Bishop won his No. 1 singles match 7-6(3), 6-0. Jeremy Schneider won his No. 2 match, Jack Dykema won his No. 3 match, Trent Smith won his No. 4 match and Gabriel Araujo won his No. 6 singles match. In doubles play, Matt Bishop and Araujo won their No. 1 match 7-5. The Musketeers are 4-9 on the season and will play at William and Mary on March 18.
