KINGSMILL, Va. - Men's golf wrapped up opening day at Kingsmill Intercollegiate this afternoon, finishing in a tie for sixth place with a team score of 296, +16. Martin Jaramillo and Eduardo Rivera tied each other for 13th place in the outing to lead the Musketeers.
As a team, XU was fourth in the field with 54 pars and fifth overall with 11 birdies. The Musketeers were 2-under as a team on par 5's, tying for seventh amongst the field.
Jaramillo earned two birdies in the first round, both coming on par 4's.
