The Musketeers cut their first-half deficit to 12 by halftime and showed fight at the outset of the second half, but Howard almost singlehandedly put down the Musketeers.
Howard scored 23 of his career-high 34 points in the second half and tied a program single-game record with nine 3-pointers (9 of 12).
