As brutally competitive as the Big East Conference has been this season, it's also overflowing with opportunities for teams to secure quality wins and prove they belong in the NCAA Tournament.
One such opportunity will knock Saturday afternoon (2:30 p.m. on Fox) at Cintas Center when No. 12 Vilanova (20-6) visits Xavier (17-9).
"They've always been tough. They played us tough at our place. And we know it's going to be a hell of a game," Villanova coach Jay Wright said Thursday on the Big East coaches' conference call.
