Edmond Sumner drafted 52nd by the Indiana Pacers

Despite having his final season truncated by injury, Edmond Sumner is going to get his chance to make money in the NBA. The Indiana Pacers traded cash considerations (not sure how that’s different than just cash) to the New Orleans Pelicans for the 52nd pick in the draft, which they used to take Sumner.

It’s a long climb from being taken 52nd to being a meaningful NBA player - even without recovery from an ACL tear involved - so Ed has his work cut out for him. The only really notable 52nd pick is Fred Hoiberg, who scratched his way into the league with the Pacers and ended up making a hair over $10 million in his career.
