University of Wyoming senior Audra DeStefano was named to the Academic All-District Women's Track and Cross-Country First Team on Thursday.
DeStefano, a native of Gillette, graduated with a Bachelor's Degree last spring with a 3.82 GPA. Currently working on her Master's Degree in chemical engineering, DeStefano had a 4.0 GPF in her first semester of grad school.
DeStefano, who holds the UW record in the 3000-meter steeplechase, won the Mountain West title in the event in 2016. This weekend she is competing in the NCAA West Prelims for the fourth consecutive year.
