The University of Wyoming volleyball team closed its regular season with a tough 3-2 (25-22, 20-25, 30-28, 25-27, 15-12) loss at Colorado State on Tuesday.
Senior Courtney Chacon recorded a career-high 60 assists for the Cowgirls (18-13, 11-7 Mountain West).
UW also got career nights from sophomore Emily Lewis with 19 kills and junior Shelby Johnson (Gillette) with 18 digs.
Additionally, seniors Kayla Slofkiss and Laura Beach had 14 kills apiece, with Slofkiss adding 13 digs and Beach nine blocks. Sophomore Reed Copeland pitched in with 11 kills and freshman Madi Fields added 19 digs.
