Led by a record-setting performance from Wade Nelson, the Wyoming men's swimming and diving team was in first place at the Western Athletic Conference Championships on Thursday.
The junior finished second in the 200 IM with a school-record time of 1:45.00.
The Cowboys lead after two days with 285 points, followed by Air Force with 267.
Also earning points for UW were Scotia Mullin, Jacob Rehmeier and Ryan Russ, who finished second, third and fifth, respectively, in the 3-meter diving competition.
