Wyoming men's golf finishes 11th in California tournament

The Wyoming men's golf team finished 11th at the 21-team Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate following its best round of the weekend. The four Cowboys whose scores counted toward the team total shot a combined 3-over Sunday in Palm Desert, California.

Wyoming finished the tournament with a three-round score of 27-over par, led by senior John Murdock and sophomore Carl Underwood, who tied for 29th at 5-over. Other Cowboy scores included junior Dan Starzinski's 10-over (T-62nd), freshman Tyler Severin and redshirt freshman Jared Edeen's 12-over (T-72nd), and freshmen Kirby Coe-Kirkham and Jimmy Dales' 19-over (T-93rd). Edeen and Dales were playing as individuals at the event.
