Freshman Harry Ewing finished 45th, clocking in just under 26 minutes, to lead the Cowboys to 17th place at the Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday. Lauren Hamilton was the Cowgirls top runner for the second consecutive meet, placing 63rd and coming in just under 23 minutes, as the Cowgirls also finished 17th.
Jonah Henry (Laramie) finished seven seconds behind Ewing, earning him 53rd. Henry led most of the way until Ewing passed him late in the race on his way to the eighth-best finish among freshmen at the meet.
