Former University of Wyoming standout Mason Finley finished 11th in the discus competition Saturday at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Finley, the 2014 Mountain West Outdoor Athlete of the Year, had a mark of 203 feet, 7 inches (60.43 meters), which was more than 5 feet short of his best throw in Friday's qualifying round.
