The University of Wyoming soccer team kicks-off the Mountain West Tournament today against fourth-seeded Utah State at 5 p.m. at San Diego State Sports Deck in San Diego, Calif.
Wyoming, who makes its fourth straight appearance in the conference tournament, finished fifth in the Mountain West with a 6-4-1 record in league play. The Cowgirls also enter the tournament on a four-match unbeaten streak, the second-longest in the conference, and have only conceded one goal during that stretch.
It was announced on Monday that freshman forward Michaela Stark was named to the Mountain West All-Newcomer Team by the conference's head coaches.
