The University of Wyoming volleyball team hosts both Colorado State and Utah State this week, beginning with the Border War rivalry against the Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Wyoming split its weekend slate with a five-set loss to Fresno State and a three-set sweep over San Jose State. The Cowgirls (13-9, 6-3) are currently fourth in the Mountain West behind leaders Colorado State, UNLV and Boise State.
Defense has been the Cowgirls' strength this season, as they lead the Mountain West in opponent hitting percentage and are second in the conference in blocks after five weeks of league competition.
