The University of Wyoming soccer team hosted San Diego State in a scoreless draw on Sunday afternoon. By earning a point for the tie, the Cowgirls assured themselves a spot in the Mountain West Tournament.
Georgia Rowntree made three saves in the game's 110 minutes for her seventh shutout of the season and fourth in conference play. Defender Taylor Burton, who tallied a shot on goal, was the only other Cowgirl to play for the game's entirety.
Wyoming managed just four shots on goal and three corner kicks in the defensive stalemate. Neither team registered a shot on net in either overtime period.
