The University of Wyoming's Audra DeStefano was named the Mountain West Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.
DeStefano, a senior from Gillette, won the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Jerry Quiller Classic in Boulder, Colorado, on Saturday with a time of 10 minutes, 34.38 seconds.
The reigning MW champion in the steeplechase now has the second-fastest time in the event in the country this season.
