Current member of Maize Football Club at the University of Michigan, a club
soccer team at the University. High School and Club Soccer Player from 2006-2010 (ACIS All Conference First Team 2010, ACIS Most Improved Player 2009). US Open Cup Champion and New York State Cup Champion. Member of High School Track and Field, Baseball, and Basketball teams.
Favorite Sport to Watch and Play:
Soccer, or to be politically correct, Football. It has always been more than a game--it has been a way of life. The sport has been my passion for as long as I can remember and taught me more than I could ever imagine about myself. I love to watch it because i see how my love for the sport is shared universally across the globe. It truly is the only sport in the world today that could unite all people.
Favorite Moments in Sports History:
1. Allan Houston's running jumper that beat the number one seed Miami Heat
in 1999 marking there improbable run as the first number eight seed to ever
make it all the way to the NBA finals.
2. David Beckham's 93rd minute stoppage time freekick that earned England a
draw against Greece and a place in the 2002 World Cup. It purged him of the
hatred of an entire country from 4 years earlier, when he foolishly earned
a red card in the 1998 World Cup, and became England's Knight in shining
armor. If you have any British pride like myself, then it may have been the
best moment of your life.
Patrick Ewing (best ringless basketball player of all time...should've had
it in 1994...)
