Greatest game you have ever attended?

2006. 10th-ranked Notre Dame vs. UCLA. With the Irish down 17-13, Brady Quinn was stuffed on a fourth-and-1 from the Notre Dame 35 with 2:25 left and we all thought the game was over. As Lee Corso would say, not so fast, we held UCLA to a quick three-and-out to give Quinn one last chance. And boy did he deliver, with 27 seconds left he threw a 45-yard touchdown pass to Jeff Samardzija to give us a 20-17 comeback victory. A tear or two of happiness may have been shed. Most epic sports moment?

When the Mavs dominated the 2011 NBA Playoffs and defeated the Heat in Game 6 of the finals to be crowned champions. Sweet revenge.

Athletic history?

There is an old saying, “If you can’t play, coach.” After a handful of athletic adventures from soccer to basketball, I quickly came to the realization that I can’t play. So, instead, I’ve coached elementary school soccer and assisted my Dad coaching middle school boys and girls basketball. I’ve also been a number one fan at more sporting events than I can count, edited the sports section of my high school paper, and I currently work in the Notre Dame sports marketing department. Unfortunately, the athletic gene skipped over me in the family and went straight to my two younger brothers and sister. I’ve only gotten as far as recreational tennis, dance, and bowling.

Favorite sports to watch?

Nothing beats college football. Preference goes to Notre Dame, but I’ll watch absolutely any coverage that’s on. Close second: college basketball and my sister’s soccer team.

Favorite athletes?

Brady Quinn, Dirk Nowitzki, and Michael Young (Yes, I have a jersey for each of them and am dying to meet them!)
