Favorite sports moment:

I was in attendance when Magglio Ordonez hit the walk-off homerun that sent the Detroit Tigers to the 2006 World Series. Made the 22 degree, Standing Room Only experience worth every second.

Favorite athlete:

Darren McCarty stole my eight-year-old heart in 1997 with his Claude Lemeuix thrashing and breathtaking Stanley Cup Finals goal against the Flyers. Doesn’t hurt that he makes about as much money as me nowadays so I can relate to him. (Zing!) (Love you, Darren!) #ImSoSorry

Favorite sports autobiography:

Not sure if this counts but I’m naming it anyway. “Hitman” by former professional wrestler Bret Hart. Lost a lot of valuable time flipping through that 500+ page masterpiece. IT’S STILL REAL TO ME, D@$%IT!

Favorite sports stadium attended:

Fenway Park. Yep....ordered a bowl of clam chowder in 90 degree weather. Be jealous.

Most embarrassing sports-related admission:

I slammed my computer mouse into the ground and shattered it into pieces in 2009 when Al Jefferson tore his ACL, thus dooming my fantasy basketball team that faithful year. It was a free league.

Best athletic moment:

Beat my dad in arm wrestling a couple weeks ago. Changing of the guard.

Aspirations:

To one day get paid for what I do all day anyway: Watch, talk and write about my love, professional sports.
