Interview with Dustin

Athletic Experience:

Baseball from Preschool-8th grade, Basketball 1st-7th, Football 7th-9th, Lacrosse 9th-11th

Favorite Sport to Play?

Competitively it would be Lacrosse. I enjoy it for the dexterity required to make passes, catches, and shots. The fact that it is a collision sport also is a plus. As for non competitive, Snowboarding is hands down my favorite way to waste a weekend and I have been doing it since I was 6.

Favorite Sport to Watch?

NFL. Watching the athletes who make a career out of one handed catches and driving QBs into the turf is one of the most satisfying things to watch. The unpredictability of how teams will fare from year to year is another reason I keep interested. Most other sports you can count out a good majority of teams but year in and year out there are teams that rise up from the scrap pile and make splash and vice versa. I love that there are no easy wins and each and every player has to work their tails off to come up with a W on Sunday.

Favorite Sports Cities?

San Francisco, Oakland, New Orleans, Boston, San Diego

Favorite Sports Moment?

1999, Packers @ 49ers, NFC wildcard game. 8 Seconds left, Young to Owens for a 25 yd TD, Owens is sandwiched between the safeties and holds on. The entire drive was a nail biter but the final throw has been called the "The Catch 2". Owens cried on the sideline after the catch. This is my only positive memory of Owens on any team.

Favorite Athletes:

Jerry Rice, Patrick Willis, Chris Paul, Garrison Hearst, Brent Burns, Gio Gonzalez

Favorite Sports Quote:

"Whose got it better than us? Nobody!" - Jim Harbaugh (Borrowed from father Jack Harbaugh)
