Interview with Bobby

Athletic Experience:

High school Lacrosse. Midfield for 3 years, goalie for my senior year. I started at goalie, made it to the Maryland state championship, but lost that game. Still Playing club lacrosse for the University of Michigan today.

Favorite Sport to Watch?

NFL football. I find the quality of the game so much better than in the college game, and it is a lot less predictable which i believe makes the games more exciting. The Washington Redskins were the first sports team I ever started liking and watching their games at FedEx Field with my mom are still some of the best sports memories I have.

My favorite athlete?

Alex Ovechkin

Favorite Sports Moment?

Jonathan Bornstein's game-tying header in stoppage time in a World Cup qualifier against Costa Rica, ultimately forcing Costa Rica into a play-off situation to qualify where they would lose, and locking in Honduras's spot in the World Cup. It was at RFK, I saw it live, and I still can't believe it happened.

Smug and aloof attitude in sports conversations with bandwagon and generally uninitiated sports fans?

Yes

Favorite Sports Quote:

"Is it strange that after a big win, CBS broadcaster Verne Lundquist insists on showering with us?" -Cam Newton
