On Sunday, Greg Gard and the Wisconsin basketball program had in-state guard (Minnesota) Christian Wiggins on campus for the Badgers matchup against No. 2 Purdue at the Kohl Center.
Before Wiggins left campus, the Wisconsin Badgers became the first Power 5 offer for the talented guard from Minneapolis, Minnesota. His only other scholarship offer at this time is from Northern Iowa. Wiggins has also taken an unofficial visit to St. Thomas.
“Thank you Coach Gard, Coach Krabbenhoft, and staff for today’s visit,” Wiggins wrote. “I am extremely grateful to receive an offer from the University of Wisconsin.
