Yeah, it’s just exhibition, but it’s a nice start for the Wisconsin Badgers.

In their third game on an overseas trip, the Badgers prevailed over the Hawthorn Magic early Saturday morning 75–68 in Melborne, Australia.

True freshman guard Kobe King led the way with 18 points on 6-of-8 field goals while also recording five rebounds. Through three of the five scheduled games on a tour that spans New Zealand and parts of Australia, the touted all-state player has scored 10 points per contest.

After King, Wisconsin received consistent scoring on Saturday from the likes of guard D’Mitrik Trice (11 points), forward Khalil Iverson (10), true freshman guard Brad Davison (nine), and forward Ethan Happ (nine).
