Wisconsin basketball: Brevin Pritzl granted medical hardship

Wisconsin men’s basketball coach Greg Gard and his coaching staff will have a potential key contributor for four more years.

UW announced on Monday that shooting guard Brevin Pritzl received a medical hardship for the 2015-16 season in which he only played only game due a broken foot. The De Pere, Wis., native suffered the injury in early August then re-aggravated it in December, shortening his freshman campaign with playing only one game — four minutes — last season against Sienna on Nov. 15.

The 6’3, 195-pound guard came to UW a highly touted prep recruit, and was named all-state by both The Associated Press (AP) and the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association.
