Scouting report: The book on Minnesota

Gophers at a glance:

OFFENSE

Like Wisconsin, Minnesota has been forced to shuffle its line because of injuries. The Gophers have used three starters at left tackle, two at left guard, two at center, two at right guard and two at right tackle.

The Gophers have struggled to pass the ball against UW in recent seasons. Mitch Leidner completed just 5 of 18 passes for 95 yards in a 34-24 loss last season in Madison.

Leidner appears to be improved this season and has completed 59.5% of his passes for 2,255 yards, with 12 touchdown passes and seven interceptions.
