Alexis Mauermann, whose hometown is Janesville, signed a national letter of intent to play women’s ice hockey at the University of Wisconsin in the fall of 2016.
Mauermann is a senior at Shattuck-St. Mary’s School in Faribault, Minnesota.
She is in her fourth year at Shattuck-St. Mary’s.
She is a left-handed shooting forward.
Her career has been highlighted by being named a member of the 2015 U.S. Women's National U18 Team for the 2015 IIHF World Championships. She also has attended various National Team Camps including: the 2014 U18 Player Development Camp, the 2013 U18 Player Development Camp, the 2012 U16 Player Development Camp, and the 2011 U15 Player Development Camp.
