Dave Shaw, who lives in Madison, was among a group of individuals inducted into the Marian University Athletics Hall of Fame Sept. 19 as part of homecoming weekend on campus in Fond du Lac.
Shaw, Nicole (Bencal) Boice, Bobbi Jo Merten and Scott Merzlicker were enshrined in the Hall of Fame and student-athletes Brian Berger and Brittany Syms were honored as 2014-15 Marian University student-athletes of the year at the Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts.
"It's always a highlight of the athletic year," Jason Bartelt, director of athletics, said in a statement. "Anytime that you can have a group of individuals, both proud alumni that impacted our success and reward our current student-athletes with the student-athlete of the year awards, makes for a tremendous event.
