Chicago – Whatever the sport, coaches are routinely asked about how they affect the lives of the athletes they recruit, teach and develop over the course of four or five years.
In the wake of the tragic deaths of Nebraska punter Sam Foltz and former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler, former Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst focused on the opposite side of the equation.
"I think that gets lost sometimes in all this," Chryst said Tuesday morning during Day 2 of the Big Ten Conference preseason football meetings.
