Madison — Wisconsin coach Greg Gard has reeled in a key recruit for the 2016-'17 season.
Unlike the two players UW signed earlier this spring, however, this prospect has participated in two Final Fours and has 75 starts on his college résumé.
His name: Nigel Hayes.
The versatile forward has decided to withdraw his name from the 2016 NBA draft and return to UW for his senior season.
Hayes' mother, Talaya Davis, announced the decision Tuesday evening.
"It just depends on if there is a team out there that thinks they would love to have me," Hayes said earlier this month during the NBA draft combine.
