The 2016 recruiting class saw the Wisconsin Badgers add future depth at the cornerback position. They did so in part with the addition of Caesar Williams, a corner from the football hotbed that is the state of Texas. Williams was also one of the final pieces to head coach Paul Chryst’s recruiting class.
Williams was a solid three-star recruit who, according to 247Sports, was also a top 150 player at his position. The Grand Prairie, TX native had other offers from Kansas State, Indiana, Illinois, Houston, and SMU among others. He had it narrowed down to Wisconsin, Indiana, Kansas State, and SMU before finally committing to the Badgers in late January.
