What was initially a 10-person class of 2017 for the University of Wisconsin Athletics Hall of Fame has expanded by one.
Track and cross country star Chris Solinsky was omitted from Tuesday's initial announcement, Badgers athletics officials said Wednesday. He'll also join the group being inducted in September.
A Stevens Point native, Solinsky won five NCAA track titles in a collegiate career than ran from 2003 to 2007.
One of them was the 5,000-meters title at the 2007 indoor championship, which helped the Badgers to the first indoor national title for a Big Ten Conference school.
