Wisconsin football recruiting: Clemson transfer LB Kellen Jones signs with Badgers

The former Tigers linebacker, who began his career at Oklahoma, will be a Badger this season.

Former Clemson linebacker Kellen Jones has transferred and signed with Wisconsin, reports 247Sports' Evan Flood.

Jones, who received an economics degree from Clemson, will be eligible to play immediate at Wisconsin as a senior. The 6'0, 230-pound linebacker will enroll in a graduate program at UW and took an official visit to Madison earlier this week, according to Flood.

Jones began his college career at Oklahoma, playing one season in 2011 before transferring to Clemson. He sat out the 2012 season under NCAA transfer rules and in 2013 appeared in three games before sustaining a season-ending ACL injury.
