Wisconsin Running Backs Take Over Spring Game

After a busy first half in the Wisconsin spring game that saw Robert Wheelwright put “Team Gasser” up 14-0 on a pair of touchdown receptions, the second half gave way to a more familiar Badgers approach: domination from the Wisconsin running backs.

Even with projected starter Corey Clement taking in the action from the sidelines, the Badgers backs put on a show in the second half. (Clement wasn’t injured, it was a coach’s decision for him not to play).

The Badgers runners combined for a total of 202 yards and three touchdowns, and that’s figuring in sack yardage (-27 yards).
